Voi Safari Lodge sits inside Tsavo East National Park, run by Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels, with the whole building turned towards the park: game comes and goes from the nearby waterholes all day and can be watched from just about every corner of the lodge. There are 53 park-facing standard rooms, interconnecting, all ensuite and each with a lounge area and a work desk. Rooms have electrical fans, 240/220 V shaver sockets, hair dryers, Wi-Fi, and complimentary mineral water and toiletries.
The main restaurant is spherical and looks out over the park, serving buffet and à la carte. There are three bars — the main one on the terrace, a pool bar next to the swimming pool, and the Hyrax bar for private functions — plus a swimming pool overlooking Tsavo East and an underground photo hide where you can photograph animals that have no idea anyone is there. Bush breakfasts and sundowner dinners are set up on Mudanda Rock, which towers over a natural dam that draws elephants every day, and most evenings end around a bonfire. There is also a meeting hall for 30 to 50 people.
