Tipilikwani Mara Camp sits on the banks of the Talek River, looking out over the plains of the Maasai Mara and well placed for the migration that crosses the reserve between June and October. There are 20 riverfront tents, decorated in warm Maasai colours, and the family tents have a standalone bathtub as well as a shower. Meals can be taken in the open-sided dining room and lounge, or served privately under the stars or on the veranda of your own tent; the kitchen is continental and works around dietary requirements. There is Wi-Fi, and 240V charging points.
Game drives go out in open 4WD vehicles carrying only six guests, with local guides who know both the wildlife and the Maasai country around the camp. The camp also arranges breakfast or dinner out in the bush, sundowners and picnic lunches, and visits to Maasai homesteads, with talks and live performances at the camp.
