Osero Lodge

Osero Lodge sits on Enarau Ranch, in bushland among the Ngama Hills at Siana, a few kilometres past the Sekenani main gate of the Masai Mara — close enough to the nearest airstrip and reachable from Nairobi by road through Narok. The rooms are well spaced and large, furnished to a high standard but still under canvas: polished wood floors, king-size or twin beds, and big fully tiled en-suite bathrooms with double vanity sinks, a large shower or bath and toiletries. Every room has a terrace at the entrance, facing the bush.

The restaurant, bar and lounge are at the centre of the camp. Meals are served table d'hôte, refreshments come at any hour on request, and the Enchula lounge — the name means meeting place — has a fire pit for the evening. Outside there are lawns and a swimming pool for the hot part of the day. Game drives, walking safaris, balloon excursions, visits to Maasai homesteads and bush breakfasts, bush dinners or a sundowner are all arranged from the camp.
