Why it works
A place with a sense of place.
Mara West Camp borders the remote and wild western edge of Masai Mara National Reserve. Guests enter the park through the Oloololo Gate and safari throughout the Transmara side of the park. Mara West Camp has eight secluded chalets, perched on the edge of the Oloololo Escarpment, overlooking the vast plains of the Transmara Triangle below, and eight traditional safari tents overlooking the escarpment's bordering valley.
We recommend accommodation only when it fits the route, the season, your pace and the value you expect.
